Took Most the Day Off
Not only did I pass puppies off to my daughter, I also came home after Arabic class today and since my daughter was home and I had okay'd it with my Anthro professor, missed the big test and took a long, long winter's nap! And yeah, my daughter learned exactly how it is dealing with an entire night & day of puppy care - and well, wasn't quite as effective as mamma!! I woke to find that she had gotten distracted (with grandpa giving her a parallel parking lesson in the drive - so, I forgive her) and forgot to shut a door since they were asleep. Luckily it was just styrofoam....even if it was ALL OVER the den.
I feel 100% better after actually getting caught up on my sleep!!!
I am a bit worried because when my mom came over to talk about my brother, she had over an hour conversation with my aunt and was unable to recall the majority of it. My brother had the surgery, but she couldn't remember what for. My brother outright lied about something, but she couldn't remember what. She even mentioned it, but she is afraid to talk to her doctor too much about it because she is really, really scared of being put in a home. Maybe since I am more rested now, I can talk with her tomorrow about the importance of early intervention and treatment.
I am going to get into bed on time tonight - and not lose the progress made today! Sleep is such a wonderful thing that we so often take for granted.

Ah, sleep, glorious sleep. Cures all manner of problems :-)
Glad you could catch up. Good luck with tonight\'s sleep and hope your talk with your mom goes well,
P.S: Yeah, had the styrofoam all over the carpet before. Btw, never managed to train my one dog from going in the garbage can when I leave. Instead she\'s trained me to keep my garbage in the freezer. I tried everything from loud noisy booby traps, catching her in the act, but nothing every worked. It\'s her only real issue so I don\'t sweat it.
Glad you have started to catch up on sleep, lack of it so impairs your judgements and enjoyment of life.
Sorry to hear about your mother xx
Hi raniagale, I hope your mothers forgetful condition is now serious. I know my mother forgets just about every thing that is presently on the table and has great memory for the past. Kind of interesting the way that works... although I am not sure of your mothers age. Maybe she is considered to young for short term memory loss.
Good to hear you got some sleep. I need some or more of that myself. lack of sleep really frays functioning. Take Care
