A few of the sisters were really flip and bitchy with me tonight. Being here and dealing with that daily has been an education. I’m more able to cope with relationships both here and the outside world and still be a team player. I’ve also gotta say that in my new strength and ambitiousness I found the monastery to be kind of boring today.

Then when I went to service it was better but my variability makes me unable to follow the services and know my cues. The whole ceremony can flatten my mind and scramble my focus but  the sisters know this of me and they serve up cues for me. My teacher is not a great teacher so we’re all doing the best we can.  Everyone we're all working together.
