TODAY WASNT COMPLETELY MISERABLE
I got out today, which sounds easy and mundane enough, but it is an ACCOMPLISHMENT for me. Christmas spirit even seems to be trying to seep in here in the final few days. It's not about shopping and decor, it's about our Saviors birth anyway!
I have learned to enjoy or savour the moments when I'm not overwhelmed by worry etc., because like The Terminator, 'They'll be back'! LOL! But I'm ok this minute, this hour! Here's to hoping I'll be able to string more of them together until there is a consistency.

I am glad that you were able to enjoy a beautiful moment. This is the joyous season of the year but I am not feeling joyful right now. Maybe it will come to me soon. I will continue to pray for miracles to all of us.
Girl, it comes and goes. Makes me feel guilty because as a mom I\'m supposed to be baking and all that you know ? But I figure I\'ll grab hold to even a second of joy and make the best and a memory. Sending prayers and good energy your way in hopes that you will catch hold onto every second of joy tha God has for you! Through this fellowshipping and encouraging each other, I hope that we will be able to help one another through these dark days. Like my Grandma said \'Today I might be able to be your ladder, tomorrow you might be able to be mine\'.
Grandma was a wise woman.
Not to long ago, I found out I have breast cancer. I was in shock while we were talking to the doc. My youngest daughter went with me. The doc left and I broke down. We are all allowed those moments.
Later, I saw on Facebook my daughters reaction to this. She described how I had been her rock for most her life. She was very proud of the fact that she could be my rock through this. (sorry. Had to take a moment for the tears)
We are here for you. You never know when you might have to be there for us!!!!
FIRST, you know I totally understand your accomplishment in just getting out! It is a huge step that is so difficult to take. I am happy you took that step. Shared that in a hug earlier but just had to repeat it because it is a big deal! I think each time we take a positive step out of our gloom, no matter how tiny, it is a big deal and like you said, hopefully we can string a bunch of our baby steps together, and build a step large enough to build a foundation for a better life for ourselves. Perhaps I am selfish, but I am so thankful to be taking these first steps with you. I\'m wondering if we need to quit writing about how this may be no big deal to others (I have written the same). Is this another way we belittle these huge accomplishments we are making? I am proud of both of us. We were in such dark places just a few days ago. We know, most likely, we will be back there, but maybe it won\'t be quite as dark since we don\'t have to be there alone. We are moving forward,. We are moving together. A great Christmas gift you have given me. Thank you. Keep moving out. I even count going out to my curb to get my mail as a big deal. LOL, my mailman must really get frustrated at how long it takes me to make it out there to empty the box!
Firstly, Mary, what devastating news that must have been. But I\'m in praise mode that you have a daughter who will be there with you to shoulder this with you. I\'m here as well and would love to support you in any way that I possibly can. GOD BLESS YOU!
Hopeless, yes honey, we were in the murky depths a few days ago! You bring up a very good point though. There\'s no need to preface our accomplishments. That just devalues them. Duly noted! Tears for the Christmas gift comment! You\'ve given me a great one too! I had been so down about not being able to provide Christmas this year, but the greatest gift is loving your neighbor (others) enough to carry their burdens with them! You have given me so many aha moments! Now we just gotta get you to say aha too! LOLOL!
