TODAY WAS WORSE....

Late Saturday night:  Today, June 21, 2008, was the 1 yr. date of Scott's funeral.  It was actually worse than the 17th.  I remember when they closed the lid I knew that would be the last time I would ever see my "boy" on this earth.  Craig went out tonight.  I am a little miffed at him.  He went to the races with a friend.  I don't care about that but he apparently made tentative plans yesterday and didn't bother to share that info.  So, by the time I found out I couldn't make any of my own.  I will talk to him about that.  I spent the day "alone" at my garage sale and the evening alone watching "The Bucket List."  I don't mind being alone if it is planned and/or I expect it. I am feeling pretty lonely these days, though. There is a difference. No plans tomorrow except sleeping late and straightening the garage back up.  Monday I am going to pick one of my favorite students up and take him on a picnic.  I am looking forward to that.  It will do me good to see him and also to do something for someone else.  Aside from that I have no plans this week.  Although, as far as I know one of my best friends is coming in from Kansas for a visit Friday or Sat.  I don't count on anything, however.

I know what you mean about when you see them for the last time (on earth) at the funeral before they close the casket. Such tremendous pain and agony.
I sometimes find myself thinking I just want to go dig him up and bring him home. Hope that doesn\'t sound strange ... it\'s just part of me wanting to fill that empty hole in my heart. I miss him so.
I hope maybe you\'re feeling a little better now.
How was the movie ? I\'ve been thinking about renting it.
Thinking of you alot the past few days, and today.
love, Kelly
