today at the outset
I think when my need in life becomes subjective
I have a hard time seeing passed my nose.
Things get too subjective and depression or sloth set in.
Luckily I caught it today.
Work in the morning at first went well, then slowly became more
and more depressed - undermining thoughts - feeling like I wasn't
super motivated (though I did work just my coworker seemed to be super quick.)
I felt old and useless - but I have now that I am home and have been
in a soup of depression i've decided to look at things with a more positive outlook..
and question my need right now. I'll rest a little bit..and just chillax.
Tomorrow is another day!

Writing it out seems to help me find the switch.
Here's hoping you feel better and more comfortable tomorrow in the work place as well as at home!
I can't give what I don't have to give. When I can't take my own needs seriously, how am I going to be able to take the next person's needs seriously with sincere honesty? Caring for the world around me begins with self-compassion. Still. . . On the flip side, when I take the time to care about the individuals around me, it easier to care about myself.
The mention of feeling old got me singing my favorite song when I'm feeling my years (or am I feeling the miles more than the years?)
