Today
I can't sleep, thinking through everything, tried to cheer myself up with amusing or motivational captions on Google, didn't really work, just so restless and unfocussd , missing family, annoyed with mum, not sure about work. Not looking forward to Christmas which used to be a favourite time of year

Take a moment. Refresh the word 'freedom of mind, body, and spirit' in your thoughts.
When decisions seem to be aiming negative, do the positive.
Christmas...the spirit of Christmas is within you, the choice you make for your well-being is yours alone. Yes, it is going to be different. So make it something you can do all by yourself to be special.
Missing...family...writing it out and keeping a special notebook will help you stay connected to what you miss.
Easy to be annoyed with an elderly parent, be patient, and look for the way to see it in a positive.
Last year my wife gave me an advent calendar with candles in, I was only half way through opening them, when the judge decided to deprive me of my liberty, so I'll finish the calendar, and I plan to light a candle from that, each Christmas Eve from now until I'm 69, by then I should have a bit more of a sense of what's going on! I'm planning that at Christmas Eve and New Years Eve I'll use the internet and music and pictures to think and remember a special time with the family. Thanks
