tired, sore but content
I’m a little slow getting around today. I’m achy, tired, just wore out. That’s what I get for going like a twenty year old the last few days. Our minds don’t want to admit that we are getting older... nobody told me LOL. But our bodies are sure quick enough to protest in a very clear and painful way. I’ve been working pretty steady in the gardens. This means a lot of time on my knees, I have arthritis in them, not comfortable. Plus I do a lot of lifting and lugging of heavy bags of soil, mulch etc. Today the weather sounds iffy... it’s suppose to be warm, 27 Celsius/ 80 F. That’s about as warm as we usually get. If it does not rain I’ll go out and fix some of the grass spots where the dogs piddled all winter. Maybe a little pruning. Nothing to strenuous!!! I am also going to get hubby to move the four, large, rectangular cement pads to the front of the rock garden and I will put my chairs around them. I even think we have two plastic tables in the basement. Now that the cupboards are done I promised 2 friends that I would have them up for lunch. I hope to do it this week so I’ve been watching the long range forecast for the sunny days. I have the whole menu planned : Garlic, sesame seed chicken, Mandarins, Almond Salad, potato salad, baguettes with whipped butter, and homemade crepes with creme cheese filling topped with fresh strawberries and wine of course.Well, gotta run my tummy is rumbling for breaky.
