tired, lonely but I've got notions

I am taking care of my brother's dog this week. It's given a suprising wonderful experience.

She's filling my heart and soul. Having another being with me to care for is so wonderful.

I had to do a lot of errands today after work and I managed to keep the dog entertained/walked

and fed when

I came back to the apartment. I fed her dinner and after the last walk I came home and just was very tired.

I tried napping a little bit - but I kind of realized that having the dog here is nice - but I think I'd like adult human people contact :) too. I don't have that luxury of friends in person just yet. I find myself focusing on work and just taking care of things now. I just resolved that after thinking about my tiredness and lonelines.. And I guess writing this isn't helping things. So I'll leave it at that. Better to focus on the work I need to do - and it'll keep me content.

do you ever find your treat the television like a place to live your life the way you'd like to?
To be around the people you'd like to be around? To block out the loneliness?
I know I am older now, I really hope there'll still be a chance for some relationship happiness in my life..
One day down the road. I need to work on that. Having this dog here has really opened my eyes, my soul
to my humanity. My human experience.
