Tired but organized
Got a lot done today. I woke at about 4am. Ate a snack and then cleaned all the dishes. Fed Blue and then made coffee and channel surfed a little bit. Wrote some emails and journaled. Took a shower and dressed, then prepared my insurance redetermination form. Had at an art class from 10am to 12 noon and then went to the UPS form and made copies of my insurance forms and then went to the post office to mail the form. I got home and for some reason was super tired. I made lunch and cleaned up from the art class and took a nap. Was kind of too tired to sleep. But I eventually rested. Then I got up and cleaned the dishes and coffee pot. Cleaned up the kitty litter and took the refuse to the dumpster. Prepared my meds and brushed my teeth. I set out a cup of water for Blue and myself by the night stand and now I'm just resting in front of the tv. Tomorrow I start work at 3am. It might be earlier but for now it's 3.
We're having a heatwave and so the windows are open.

Starting work at 3:00 am sounds tough! Do you always work the same schedule or rotating shifts? What breed of kitty is Blue?
We're having a cold snap on the opposite end of the country. Highs in the upper 40s and lows in the lower 30s. Hope your weather cools down soon!
Sounds like a busy day. I would hate to go to work at 3am, but you seem to do great at it. I live with a friend who works the night shift and she loves it.
A heatwave sounds good to me. It's cold here like Ladybug7 said it is at her home. Don't you have AC?
I usually start work at 430a but it’s a special case today. Blue is a tabby cat. It’s a very warm morning still though the sun is not out yet. Thanks guys!
"tired but organized" just might describe the end of what i consider a perfect day. the tired helps me sleep like a baby. the organized gives me a feeling of a day well lived.
your heatwave is due to hit my neck of the great plains today. a great day for airing out the house after turning the heat on for the first time this fall.

We are going to have weather in the 70s on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so I guess that's our heatwave. Probably the last of the season.

4:30 am is still pretty early, but I'd imagine you've gotten used to the hours. Tabby cats are nice. Actually, I like all types of cats; I'm a cat person. : ) Blue sounds like good company.
Thanks Ladybug! It certainly has become my habit to go to bed and rise early.. I still get tired but so it goes… no problem. I like cats and most animals. I can’t emphasize enough the blessings Blue has brought to my life. And he wants to be with me every step of the way. I’m glad I have anticipation and responsibility for him every time I return from work or wherever!:)
