tired but inspired
I had a really good meeting and discussion with my Doctor yesterday.
She encouraged me with some interesting observations which gave
me inspiration to consider them.
I went to work this morning, with my mind on what she said..
just my interpretation of those ideas and 'how I seem to get' at times.
I focused on work and stayed engaged at doing the job well. Only slightly moments of dismay
came and went but I steered myself back to doing the job I have, for the pride I can take in having
done a good job and being respectful of myself and the work and coworkers and folks there.
To describe my mindset, I kind of stayed middle of the road, not indulging in
intensely scrutinized things but more so just kept an even keel...aware of the
the need to keep focused and the needing to get the job done.
The work makes me extremely tired, though I only work part time.
On the drive home I had a little bit of difficulty focusing on the road but
again I just kept focused on the basic idea of staying gently focused on
the work of driving and respectful regarding the drive I had to make. Nothing
really deep but just companionable to task at hand.
As I got home, I crouched down on the ground with Blue and snuggled.
He's my guardian angel and best friend...and savior.
I ate lunch, ate some dessert of raisins and made and drank some coffee
showered and dressed...
I was trying not to indiscriminately drill down on ideas to tell me what
to do with the time I have until my next commitment.
My mind went to my usually scheduled things I do and yet I felt like it wasn't what I wanted...
I started to realize how tired I was. I didn't know what to do with my day
and realized I needed a rest and so lay down on the couch and had a nice little nap.
I'm very tired but inspired to get on with my day.
I go to the CMATO to help my friend Roya out for a little while.
Then it's back home and the routine starts all over again!
It feels like I am riding a unicycle hehe -
I'm also kind of realizing that I get something out of these rambling journals.
I like to write and I like the quiet, thoughtful life. I think I can kind of surmise
to give myself some of that during the day rather than just have the drive
front and center ....and so without being overwhelmed by it and so by directing it with purpose
and effectiveness.

It's great that journaling helps sweetie.... I should get into it more.... I tend to journal when things are off in my life
With regards to lethargic it may be a side effect of your medication... It sure is for me
I don't want to blame everything wrong on our disorder of meds but it helps me to remind myself of symptoms and side effects at times... It answers questions for me
Big hug... I hope that you and Blue can comfort each other today.... xo
thanks Janet!
did you know that a plane's autopilot spends 95% of its time course correcting? i only need to be on course for 5% of the day in order to get to where i need to be. "tired but inspired" is a mighty fine destination. i sleep like a baby on my tired but inspired nights.
Thanks Arfie!!
