Tired but good morning
I'm learning so much about life.
I griped to my sister in a text last night and this morning, I followed up with another.
Just saying stuff about the discomfort here at times but I've learned so much - and I am grateful
that I have any options at all -
Where I learned more, out there today, was while driving a couple of monastic people
to their appointments. It gave me pause in terms of realizing there's
always going to be some discomfort when you're working with people,
If you live with them or not -or even in a family- it's going to always have its moments.
I found myself, and find myself, much more focused on the job in front of
me - and I am finding myself sighing a great deal to release pressure
as my Dad does when he's out, keeping his focus, doing errands and things. He's really
a superman!!
I am realizing that there's a dignity or allowance for a kind of dignity in
each business you go into out there - even in a monastery- or social situation -- and then when I come home I am lucky enough to have the relaxing
time when I reconnect with how I like things - and who I am -
I am really starting to notice how the sisters navigate this -
they're a bit more challenged than others in the outside world at times, it seems,
but I am starting to see them and appreciate them - even though it's uncomfortable, moments will happen...
I guess 'hey welcome to real life Mark''
Things are good - I am grateful to be back in my room now - writing away -with Blue -
and I'll make tea.
Peace and thanks
