tired

I am tired and I found myself vegging out on the bed, listening to the radio

and drinking tea after coming back to my room for the day. Not really sure what to do with myself - i decided to just treat myself

well - I shut my eyes at first - being so tired -and then I thought rather than bolt upright

and get on with the evening, i remembered this scene in a play where they talked about

'insinuating yourself into a chair' lol - it seemed a viable and gentle approach to me getting

on with entertaining myself with a journal and getting on with the task of taking my meds

and brushing my teeth. I need to get to bed now -I have to rise at 415am - and get down to

church at 5am. I think tomorrow night, I'll request a morning of rest on Thursday.

I'll go to the gym on Thursday as well.

Again tired. Peace and good night!

"insinuating yourself into a chair."

that one intrigued me far enough to paste it into a search engine. i was half expecting to discover the play you referenced, but i came up with a literary trend i had been unaware of. the dictionary definitions seem to carry sinister overtones.

anyhoo. . .

feeling an urge to remind that rest is a responsibly productive activity. i'm not sure if i am reminding you or myself.

nightie night. make sure the dream bugs bite.

Rest is a task in itself. The doc told me that I needed to list it as an activity on the homework assignment for that lesson.

Here's to you taking care of you first!
