Time to Heal

Well my boyfriend and I have finally broken up. I feel really bad because i'm not upset as much as I probably should be. Yes I love him, but it just didn't feel right anymore. I have my own problems to deal with and it seemed like all my problems were too much for him to handle. After all is said and done I believe it's for the best. I hold a tremendous amount of guilt upon my shoulders, I didn't want to hurt him, and I could see it in his eyes. I could just no longer see a future with him, especially not after everything that has happened these past couple of weeks. It may sound bad that I couldn't stay by his side, but for once I had to put my own health before a man. I sound very selfish, and it's hard having to live each day with this feeling. Hopefully in the end it's for the best.

You did the right thing, don\'t doubt yourself! Doing what\'s right for your health isn\'t selfish, it\'s a necessity. Once you\'re in a better place emotionally, you will be able to attract a better type of man; one who will respect you and always put you first and understand any problems you might have at that time. It will be ok. Good for you for being strong enough to take away something toxic from your life, that\'s a huge step!
