time passages

I got up this morning and felt the depression from having eaten way too much

yesterday - I decided to not let my view go global about things - (which i was excited I could do)

I got up and got myself out for coffee - It really is a routine that helps give my day

a good structure and jumpstart..

I came home and started to research the Restorations Mountains Trust - sent them an email

to ask if they have any events coming up soon - despite the Pandemic... wishful, hopeful thinking!

It's super cloudy right now and cold - but when the sun comes out, I would like to take a walk at the park.

Then I will shave, shower and dress for my friend's birthday lunch which

we'll have at 1130a or so. I'll bring her flowers, a card and a present.

all this time of COVID isolating, really has me wanting to be a part of something...I think I will join in a church
when society opens up again...

change in plan...because of the lockdown in California, my parents (and I agree) don't want me going anywhere.

Hi Mark, sorry to read your plans fell through with your friend and maybe a call will be great....agree with all about traveling right now. Isolation I think at least for me is driving me batty...I envy your work and routine!!! The cloudy day stuff, it was So Cold in CT, and we had snow the other day. Spring can't come soon enough! I too miss going to Church! Do the Monks do services for the public? My Uncle was a Jesuit Monk until the second Vatican. He didn't agree with the changes and decided to leave the order. Just out of curiosity, how do you manage to get up and out of your house....quite frankly this ability of yours Amazes Me! I've been a night owl, and wish I could get a better night routine so I don't sleep so late...ugh...

thanks Mary Louise! I think during this time we're all eager for community. I AM very lucky to have my job - and at my parents' urging I will only go out to work and come back - the essentials. I was taught by Jesuits at my University - they certainly are brilliant and special!
I must admit I don't always want to go to coffee but if it's like a job to do - I just get up - dress and go - it starts my day off
with a structure - and that carries through - and inspires for the next things I have to do during the day.
I go on my weekend days to coffee - during the week I have to be at the market too early for the Starbucks to be open! :)
So I have the opposite schedule - I am so habituated to go to bed early - taking meds - and waking early that all of it is just second nature now. I really recommend finding a routine or a ritual - it's calming and nurtures purpose. it helps when
there are bumps in the road as well - something to fall back on.
peace!!!

Good for you!

Prayers in progress that Mountain Trust is not among the non-profit groups suffocating behind the masks. Thems is some mountains worthy and in need of the volunteer forces.

Just praying. . .

God's will be done.
