Time for another episode
This site has been screwy the last couple of days...hope that it is fixed...
I am still retired,,,,first month of checks came in and so far so good.. having continued physical problems,,,shot out my right knee,,and have been waiting for doctor to call back for a special appt,,,don't want to wait till my knee completely gives out ,,I suspect that is just a sprain,, feels like a sprain I can stand on it ,,but it hurts when I ambulate about (walk)... never had great knees to begin with and age has taken its toll,,The buzzards have been circling around the house.. I hope it is not a message !!!
I continue to go to 12 step support meetings ongoing ,,and do some online meetings as well...I seem to have some problems making live connections for friends ,,that has always been or seemed to be a problem for me,,,,not that I am hard to get along with type of person,,rather ..it has been a problem especially I think down here in Florida,,people don't seem willing to connect as readily for some reason,,I think that general trust seems to be a problem here ,,or else I am approaching the wrong people ,, I tend to isolate which obviously does not help matters, I do not work so that assoiciation is not available to me.
There are some friends online ....which is a good thing,,still it is not local which is a problem for me ,,,My goal here is to build up a network of people who will share whatever issues seem relevant,,,even by phone would be good,,I think that I can be of enormous help (non-financial) to anyone who wants it ,,as I have worked in Social Services for years and years,,and have quite a bit of experience,,and isn't that the essence of what 12 step is all about ??
