Time for an assesment
Last week my schedule changed. Anytime my schedule changes I have to figure out how to adjust so that I can stay on task with the things that I want to accomplish. I want to get some writing done. I am supposed to be working on my Spanish and getting enrolled in a nursing course. I also want to stay on track with my exercising.
It is March already. That means it is almost time for me to take my personal inventory to see where I am in regards to what I want to see done this year. I have quarterly dates set that I am supposed to go on a personal retreat. During the retreat I take an assessment of where I am with my goals for this year. If I have to readjust my plan of action that is when I do it. At the beginning of the year I did a lot of writing during this soul searching. I cleaned out a couple of notebooks. I laid out all of my (2013) goals and objectives and the steps to get there. I wrote down how I would fit that into my weekly schedule to make it part of my daily routine. When I got home I could not find the paper that I had scheduled it in. I think I got it mixed up with the things to throw away.
The retreat requires me to leave home. If I stay home there are so many distractions that I may not get it done. I have to check into a hotel. I think that I will look around at so more hotels. I am learning to explore getting a good deal on some nice hotels so that it is a pleasant stay.
