Thursday morning,more bloodwork today

Good morning journal, the time is now 5:40am,I have been awake since around 3:45am,yep,our much loved canine children keeping to their usual early morning routine, now,as usual, two of them are fast asleep on our sofa while the third is with her human mother in our bedroom,oh well, such is life. Now,what news I hear you ask?,well,I spoke to the disability people last Friday morning, and again on Tuesday of this week, the good news is I have finally, after all these months of waiting, been given the news we were praying for,my application for disability benefits has been awarded, not just the standard rate either,I have been awarded both the daily living component and the mobility component at the enhanced rate, which is more money,......thank you Lord. Now for the not quite so good news,.....some genius in the disability department made the award from July 2014,yes,I know it's only February,so.......I have been promised that it will be fixed before February 10th,which is next Monday, until it is,they can't send me any payment, but when they finally get around to paying me,it will be backdated to July 2013,the date of my original application. Today,I have to go to my doctors office to have more blood work done, after that,I have to mail some forms back to the department of works and pensions so that my employment support allowance can be adjusted,it will be more money also because I have been awarded disability,so it's all good. Last week I received a letter from the hospital,I have an appointment with a doctor MacKay on March 14th,now,I have never heard of this doctor so I called the appointments department to find out what it was all about,it turns out that I have been referred to him by another doctor that I've never heard of,so when I asked why I had been referred I really should not have been surprised when the girl on the other end of the phone said she didn't know, don't these people talk to each other?. I then asked what this doctor MacKay specialized in,her answer?,general medicine,oh well, that's okay then;so what is he best known for I asked?,her answer?,endocrinology,no,I don't know what that is either, apparently,he needs to see me because of the results of my last blood tests, that will be the tests I had before the ones that I'm having today then,I know,I've given up trying to figure it out as well. I can only assume that it's because several readings from my last set of blood work came back elevated, well no doubt all will be revealed in the fullness of time. Well journal, that's about all for now,so until the next time,we thank our Father in Heaven for His love and compassion, for interceding in our fight for recognition of my illnesses and our award for disability payments,....the victory is His,and yet again we see His power,His greatness and His Almighty Glory at work for us,His children,we thank you Father,in the name of Your Most Holy Son and our Blessed Savior Jesus Christ,..............Amen.

That\'s great news about the disability checks. God does answer prayer. It\'s just not always right away.

My indo works with me because of my diabetes. She also is well versed in thyroid problems and heart problems. One of their specialties is knowing how and when meds work properly. May be just the type of doc you need to work with. Really shouldn\'t be a general practitioner. At least I think.

Good luck and I shall remember you, wife, and fur children in my prayers.

Great news on disabilities stuff!!! Yea, yea
