Thought I was near the end but pulled back.
Back to waiting and trying to find ways to help the situation.
My sister's doctor decided that she shouldn't be left alone at night so I am back staying with her until they can find someone to come and be with her. That will either be a personal attendant that just comes over and is there, helping only at need but has no real duties other than be there in case of emergency or we can find her a room mate that is higher capability than her, one that is able to stay alone if need. But it may take a few days or a week until they set it up. The room mate may take longer but if we can find the right one would be the better of the two.
My sister has an old friend that she knows form way back in school that would fit the need. We have to find out if the friend wants to move in with her. If so it would be good. It would mean both of them will pay for the bills and so each would have more money for themselves and would save the state money since they won't have to pay a person to be there at night. I am in hopes that my sister's friend will want to do this.
My brother is starting to deal with his problems but we still don't know how we are going to save the houses for us to inherit yet so he will be completely put out in a few years if we can't. I need to find work to support myself but am unable to til my sister is settled. It is difficult to find work where I am, also.
My brother is still uncomprehending that my sister doesn't want him coming over whenever he likes and to not come and take things from my parents house. He also is still wanting to take my father home from the living assistance care. Every time he goes to visit him he gets my father all messed up and my brother doesn't seem to notice. He wants to visit their house with him. This would completely wipe out all the time at the home getting him to think of it as being where he lives and my father would have to start over with all the missing home, anger, confusion, etc... My brother has no common sense. He may think he has my father's best interests at heart but he is actively causing more difficulty for him. Maybe he doesn't care really and has some agenda for doing it, I'm not sure. I have started to doubt anything my brother is doing for fear it is only selfishly motivated.
I went to church with my sister, Sunday. It felt good, The church has a good, relaxed feel to it. The people seem friendly and sincere in their belief. I'm not as openly religious or taken by my love of God as some of them, (they are the hands in the air, pray out loud kind of Christians, but not all of them) But I think it will be good for me to attend regularly.
That is about it, no major changes or new complaints or problems. This in itself makes me feel better and so I am ok right now but hopeful.
