this place has definitely taught me about life

so I've learned some lessons here at the monastery

about life in general. It's a place I know now that it would provide a good

structure for my life - at times even a happy structure -

I feel acceptance for what humanity serves, how people conduct their

lives individually and relationships and how in a group people strive to control

and keep the hierarchy firmly in place and thus things moving smoothly. So that

everyone is mostly contented with their personal control or metaphoric plot of land.

That's a stark vision.

I could see being placed here as a way for dealing with my life - but part of me

wants to place myself where I will thrive...somewhere better -

and as is the case for me, I am forever seeking something higher.

a place where my humanism and creativity will grow best - but

with the dual side of things that I've been taught here will be

somewhat here too.

and I guess I have my own way of doing this too. I think it's inevitable for us to observe others' lives and draw conclusions
only to expose that about our selves and to others - if we really look at ourselves. I think I need to beef up my strength
to consider humanity before just going with the rules here at the monastery.

it's definitely taught me about my spirituality too.

my psycho sense from the summit of know-it-all mountain believes you are connecting dots far more than you are learning new stuff. not to minimize the importance of connecting dots. for my psycho nickel, learning new facts/concepts is far, far easier than connecting the dots to make knowledge pertinent to my own life. i find a huge gap between knowing and realizing.

just a theory. . .
