This is harder than I thought...
Feeling bad, just want these next couple of days to be OVER... I've cried so much, that I broke a blood vessel in my left eye and it's so yucky. I also had to put my 10 year old shih tzu Pixie Dust down yesterday. Greg was with me when 'we' picked her out. I remember one time, he counted how many times she licked him, 75 and said WOW Mum can you believe she licked me that many times? I said I can't believe you let her and counted.
Then his Dad messages me and says, "We still have that package for you to pick up, when are you going to get it"? Well our sons ashes is not a package, you also live in another state called TX, not like I can just drive over and get 'him'. He's an ass and always has been, but that's another story.
Then my husband forgot out anniversary on the 22nd, he's also been super busy with work, so i had to go buy my own gifts this morning, then just lost it when the store I had to go too was next door to my Vet.
Well going to bed, one more family gathering, then I can come home and just let it go... and pray for a better year next year, I will still miss my Gregor, but hopefully will continue to move forward in this journey.

Oh, I am SO sorry about your Pixie Dust as I just saw her picture... That is always hard to say good-bye to our beloved fur babies and most especially when they carry a part of our sons. I know as we had to do that with our Sadie girl a few years ago... It really hurts.
You are moving through all of this as best as you can and hoping you can come home and just let it BE.
Had to smile over how many times your pup had kissed Greg and that indeed he had counted. Shows such a tender side of your loving son.
Hand in hand and Heart to heart we go,
XO Joanie
so sorry about your little furry friend,,, tis so hard... still take those baby steps,,, remember to breathe.... the day will be over soon... love ya!
A triple whammy...so sorry you are going through a rough patch. By journaling it you are progressing in your journey. If you kept it inside it would not be progressing. Whenever we share, I feel it more us down the journey which will never end until we meet our children again. Love to all my SOTH and hope you get through the holidays without to much heartache. xoxoxo Connie
Thank you all, feeling better today... Have had signs Greg has been with me all day today and last night.
Julie, you are doing as well as you can. Your son\' s passing is recent and still raw. This journey is a difficult one and some days are harder than others. I am sorry about the passing of your little dog too. It is hard to say goodbye. Love and tight hugs, Linda
Holding you tight in my heart and thoughts. I went and visited my remaining son at rehab today, it was a bit uncomfortable in that I did not want to be at a rehab on Christmas day.. I am sorry for the loss of your shih tzu.
Peace.
