This day is better

because of the day/night before. There have been brief episodes of success and twice weekly episodes of miserable regrets. I've stumbled along this path of cold turkey.
In some ways I am becoming a better man through reading & understanding what that means. It starts with not being a prick. For right now,it may also mean working six days a week to get through the endless necessary disruptive interruptions. This is the source of my distress. Distress yields to frustration. Frustration yields to alcohl. This is the path of bad nights and lousy morning afters.
One worthy alternative is the ellipticaL.  Exercise releases those feel better endorphin. These endorphins smooth the ragged edges of the day while squelching the perceived need to gulp.
Todays 'elleptical' will be a pair of snowshoe.
All is well. There is hope. The light at the end of the tunnel shines brightly.

Exercise helps me too. It\'s just the getting there part that\'s hard sometimes. Keep going to the light.

I am so happy that all is well for you. Being on snow shoes sure sounds like fun. Wish I could have been with you enjoying the crisp air! We were in Utah for over 3 years and loved skiing. When we returned to Maryland and went to ski resorts in Vermont, I had to learn how to ski on ice!!

Wishing you a happy week.
