This and That, That and This

I have an infant in my dayhome, and Marlow has decided that she is extremley jealous of this baby. It definitley makes me thankful that when thoughts of another sooner rather then later crossed my mind I didn't share too much with Joey! How do people do it with two kids?! As soon as I pay attention to Madison (the infant) all hell breaks loose with Marlow. She will throw her lunch if she is eating. She will start colouring on the walls if she has crayons. She will even try and pinch the baby while I feed her! Plus, she has started this 'I'm a baby' phase where she wants to be treated like an infant, and she acts like one. I'm hoping that it eventually stops, because I am going gray! :) Kudos to all you crazy beans out there that have more then one kidlet that are 3 and under!

The other day my father in law came over. He brought one of the grandkids, Zack. Joey's dad was helping him edge the lawn and Zack was playing with Marlow, but he is 7, and though he's great with her, he does get bored. So I told him if he gathered as much grass, we mulch so the cut stuff is strewn on our lawn, as he could and put it in the wheelbarrow I would give him $2. He spent an hour gathering grass! We have a massive lawn, and there was a lot. So I gave him the $2. Then my MIL phones to ask when they are coming back and Zack wants to talk to her. So he tells her he got $2 and she made him give it back! She told me that they don't pay Zack to do chores. It wasn't a chore, I'm not them, and it's $2! It made him happy! Poor little guys face was crushed when he gave me back the toonie. So I'm going to go buy $2 worth of candy and give it to him.

Marlow learned how to write an M the other day. It amazes me how smart kids are! She just turned 2, but I figure at this rate she can learn to write her own name before 3. The thing is, she can count to 10, but letters are harder. She isn't near as good at her alphabet. But we were colouring and I wrote her name just as a doodle and she asked me what it was. So I told her it was her name, then pointed at each letter and told her what they were. So she drew the M, not a hard letter lol, and named it. Now she draws it on all her pictures. And she takes her doodle around to show everyone her M, M for Marlow.

awww \"M\" doodle is so cute! I don\'t have any advice on the acting like a baby situation... I too don\'t know how people do it with more than one under 4. I don\'t want to be that person!

I can\'t believe they made him give back the $2! Poor little guy.
Your daughter is doing so well!! I have a 6month old and a 2 year (just turned) old. My daughter is obsessed with eating the baby\'s baby food and when he cries, she wants to be held too. So it\'s pretty normal. It seems better, but I\'m not completely sure how long til it\'s gone!
