Thirty Weeks
Diagnosed on Apri 1, 2011, I have been on Azilect for 30 weeks now. Still no side affects from the drug, but the disease keep creeping along. I get so many miss strikes and double strikes when I am typing that I have to proof read every word.
We have moved south for the winter, currently in Gilroy, CA visiting our son. I have given up our recumbent tandem, too hard to balance for me now. We gave our sailboat to the son's family, too hard to set up and launch.
On the positive side we went retro, back to our standard upright tandem bicycle, 1995 vintage, and I feel competent and comfortable riding this bicycle alongside traffic. We rode a ten mile loop here in Gilroy and it felt wonderful.
