Thinking first...

When thoughts to gamble occur, I am really taking the time to think it all through, and all of the ramifications...   I realize how I used to rush right into going to the casino.. just because an urge came on.  That is one significant thing that's different than the way I used to be.  My logical side kicks in and I'm much more aware of not wanting to lose/waste money in the machines.  Of course, there have been times when I didn't listen to that side, of course, but always pay the consequences.  There are a lot of other fun things to do.  My life has become so much richer this year since I've been on this journey in a more serious way.  Also, my relationships are enhanced . . I've simply got more of "me" to give to them.
