Thinking about prayer

This morning I fell like a lightning bolt of energy. Singular and ungrounded.

I’ve thought about prayer to bring me down to earth

and god and ultimately realized that one thing can’t always do it ( ground me).  None of the options seemed to help. When I am older I thought about who indeed I would reach out to. I thought of reaching out to my sister, I thought about posting on DS. I thought about reaching out to others here at St. Nina's and taking care of their needs. Ultimately I have to think that the extreme nature of what I feel I need needs to be tempered. Just kind of broken down into bite sized pieces and steady forward, filtering what comes in and out.

Have a great day!

For the people who can submit to the rigors of this kind of life, at the monastery, they really need it.
We all find our ‘snug’ out there or search for it ongoing.

I’m thinking about my penchant for freedom and yet the risks in my disability.

this place may be my 'snug' and the job outside keeps
me challenged - something to talk about on Friday with Dr.

can't get too comfortable - it's not healthy -
I do dream of a life independently at times - but I know that may not be in the cards
for me - so thinking just in terms of 'what people need' and including myself in that
thought - it brings peace.

just kind of weighing the pros and cons - there will be challenge in any direction
and getting ok with that is what I am learning...Sometimes we pool the resources from
different places -

Yes self preservation is important.. I think you should stay where your at..you can keep yourself challenged in different ways. If you need to expend energy maybe consider running.
