things of my husbands
Is it wrong to take my time on getting rid of my husbands clothes? My mom told me that I should take his name off of the bank account I told her I was not ready for that because it would be admitting he is dead. Then my mom told me that his bill collectors will come after you. That did not make sense to me.

Hi Sam, take all the time you need. I am at 2 months next Sunday and haven\'t even begun to think about getting rid of his clothes or anything else for that matter. Also, I would get all my financial advise from a CPA or an attorney. Sadly in a community property state it doesn\'t matter whose name is on the accounts. I found this out by researching how the medical bills would be collected. They are his bills but I am still responsible. I haven\'t even turned off my husband\'s phone. Like you it will be like losing him over again.
I turned off my husbands phone and turned it into be recycled I did keep the memory card. As far as his medical bills I just refer to the fact he and I are on disability and he had medical insurance. I was ablie to donate some of his clothes but the rest I have not bothered with because it would feel like he is actually gone. I know he is gone but I just have a hard time letting go.
