Things IS good! :)

what a morning...I just feel like writing again.

Things are good - been watching some news and keeping Blue busy.

Not much to write about except that I have the windows open now -

the cold morning air is coming into the rooms and I can hear

the cars zooming along the freeway.

Blue is running back and forth between the bedroom and living room.

Clawing away at his scratching tower/post at times - and jumping onto the open

window sills and staring out onto the ravine where there are lots of trees,

a creek and lots of birds.

He meows quite a bit and I initially took that to mean he is bored and needs

attention - but I don't know that for sure. When he does meow, I try to go over

to him and comfort him. He purrs but then a little while later he seems

to wander around a meows a bit. I know cats are diurnal (they have the most energy

at dawn and dusk) and I so I bet he just has urges that he can't (since he's an indoor cat)

manifest. Sometimes I'm like that too LOL!!!

Anyways, I hope you guys are having a good morning. Big hug,

Mark

Yeah, some cars are just very vocal but doesn’t always indicate distress. My cat meows because she’s talking to me. When i talk to her she thinks she’s conversing with me.

Have a great Saturday!

Thanks guys! He is fixed! I think he tends to eat when he doesn't know what to do with his energy.
Truly the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! haha

Marky does he have a set dinner schedule? My cat eats dinner at 6pm , only a 1/3 can of wet cat food. I keep just a little dry food in her bowl. If it gets empty that’s okay - I just add a little more if I’m heading out for the day.

His wet food was too rich for him. He would throw it up, so now he gets only dry food.

Cats meow when they are talking to humans. They don't meow at each other. I had a cat who was part Siamese and she was very vocal. Talked all the time. Maybe Blue is part Siamese.

That’s interesting! He definitely talks a lot! I try and respond vocally to him and also take it as a signal that he wants caresses or food... or he wants me to play with the cat whip. I’d like to get him a kitty treadmill but they are around $300. Maybe in time. He really needs to be able to run! He’s a spirit of nature!
