things are weird but good

I woke up this morning, and felt a great and growing sense of loneliness.

It felt like a panic - that this new life in an apartment alone was beyond my capacity...

But after going to a dental appointment, I have realized, this is just growing pains. The transition from living in a assisted living place

to independent life..and I love where I am. The loneliness makes me appreciate those who are in my life

as well...that much more now that I am being awake to what is going on in my head, my day.

I reached out to a couple of people who are important to me - just to say hi.

I am trying to keep busy, but not just with anything. I have a huge list of "To Do's".

I guess I would like to say something conclusive here - but the road just changes and morphs along the way.

Whereas once I used to calm myself watching certain TV programs and keeping to a schedule of them - I now

kind of want and have to do things that are different..I don't wish to bury myself in TV...blossoming.

and I feel like I have to be a little more pro-active about making plans - to enjoy life - but also to develop and support a community.
I don't know what I'd like to do. Maybe go to a museum or a concert. I might have some plans coming up with a couple old friends from long ago. I will start to talk to them about what they'd like to do.
