Things are pretty good!

I had a good morning at work and then came home,

ate some cereal, napped and showered and went over to my parents'

place to help them move stuff over to their new house.

It was mighty, mighty, hot here....at least 100F around 38C.

We worked hard together (which was fun) and then bickering started

and I urged them to cool off and drink water.. A hot day will make fuses

a lot shorter and tempers flair because of it - and if your body was cooled off

there would hardly be anything to argue about.. That's my two cents - and insight...lol

Anyways, I came home but stopped off at Trader Joe's after we were done and bought

some Czech Beer, some crispy ochra treats and some peach juice. 

I just decided to hang out with trusty partner Blue and drink some beer

and gnosh on the crispies. 

I really love Blue. He makes my home special and today when I felt like I had been

neglecting him a little bit - because I had been so busy with the move and work I decided

to shift gears and think in terms of him. Knowing he is there in the room... reaching out to him

and nuzzling or scratching his head. He's mellow...He has meowed some times in recent days...

I think when I hadn't been so attentive to him but now he's mellow and just splayed out in amorphous

kitty form on the carpent..."Cat in Space!"

He's helped me realize the power of connection, and through my connection with him I feel more able

to take care of myself as well. The mystery of it seems to have drained away....at least for today.
