there's a guy at work who hassles me. I don't work in his department.
I don't really talk to him - I don't talk to him.. I try to be professional and civil but he's vicious.
I think he's been reprimanded before since I've heard he 'goes after' other
people too. Today he tried to make it harder for me to do my job... he does crap like
that - on purpose. I told my boss today - and she said "yeah, he's just a dick." She also
said she would update the General Manager that he's a dick. It's just annoying. I kind of tune him
out - but it's like he wants my whole work day to be about him. Anyways, I've got to
get to work on a project. Talk later...and thanks for the vent! pax!

I get allot of mileage out of letting a dick/cunt be a dick/cunt. I'm even mean enough to calmly greet someone with, "Oh. . . It must be my turn under the dick/cunt whip. Ready for whipping, Boss."
Then I go find someplace to vent in more honest tones.

I recently had a situation trying to buy tires....Trying a couple of times, finally guy took a breath and I jumped in,"may I speak now? Both his voice and behavior were becoming rude....I finally interrupted him..."""so sorry you are having a hard day"...did an about face...he lost a 600.00 sale....I was shaking by the time I got into my car, like you , do my best to avoid confrontation in a polite way...yet get my needs met as well...hope you day will be better after he is reported.

I've had to deal with a person like that before, It is hard and it hurts. Sorry you are having to go through that. I pray your boss will talk to her boss about it. No one should have to deal with stuff like that at work or anywhere.
