The Year of STRESS

First an apology to all my DS friends. I have not paid much attention to you, nor read your journal entries, nor sent very many hugs or prayers or words or encouragement. I am so sorry -- I really have been rather focused on my own self.  Now, it really does seem that stress comes in great big bunches. To wit:  Since January 2009 I have: 1) Lost my husband 2) Left a good job, for what appeared to be an even better job 3) Lost my late husbands family (with the notable exception of one SIL) 4) Am involved in a potential wrongful death suit (as the plaintiff for the wrongful death of my husband) 5) Am involved in a potentially devastating fight over the estate  6) Lost that even better job 7) Been denied unemployment benefits and have had to retain yet another lawyer to help me appeal this denial of benefits  8) Had two excellent interviews for a new job that I am still hoping comes through 9) My mother went into the hospital this morning for what was supposed to have been a laparascopic "procedure" to remove her ovaries and a (benign) ovarian cyst.  Unfortunately, the doctors were unable to remove these laparascopically due to the placement of her organs, thus necessitating major surgery. They opened her up.  She was then admitted to the hospital. This has now necessitated a major restructuring of our plans, what with my children arriving tomorrow afternoon from Israel. I also had to cancel an appt with the personal injury lawyer which was to have taken place this afternoon.  Please, G-d, no more. I love you G-d, I believe in you with utmost faith, you do NOT need to test me anymore.  Enough is enough.   Thank you.
