The worst call to get

I'm really new at this.  My sister suggested I join, so here I am giving it a try.
I have read many blogs/follow many blogs about infertility... but haven't ever written about myself.
I am 31 years old.  I have stage 4 endometriosis.  I have had two surgeries to remove my endometriomas, which have grown back only months after the surgeries.
I had been TTC for about 2 years.  My husband and I finally, after many many roadblocks, were able to try a cycle of IUI with Clomid and Ovidrel, but it was unsuccessful.
So we began IVF... We went through egg retrieval... retrieved 17 eggs, 12 of which were mature, 6 which got fertilized, and only one that made it to a blastocyte.  I had my transfer on June 29 and found out today that I am not pregnant.
I feel lost, sad, angry, helpless and have lost hope...

First off - welcome and hello! Second - I\'m sorry you\'re here :( Infertility is awful. It is stressful, lonely, and exhausting. These boards are a great! It\'s a little quiet around here right now but you can search through previous messages on the boards. There is a ton of wonderful info.

We\'re in similar boats - I have severe endo and just went through our first IVF in June. (after 5 failed IUIs) All were negative and we didn\'t have anything left to freeze after our first round of IVF. At the moment we\'re taking a break and plan to pick back up in late August/ September. With what we don\'t know yet? :)

You\'re not alone. I know it feels that way, but I promise you there are many of us walking the same roads.

I am so incredibly sorry for the pain and loss you are feeling today. I have been there are on many occasions. You have found a wonderful place that is full of woman (and a few men) that are going through the same thing. We can relate, offer advice, and be a shoulder to lean on when you are at your lowest and some day...your highest! I have gone through IUI\'s, 2 failed IVF\'s and an FET that ended in miscarriage. Turns out that it is most likely my crappy eggs and we are just starting our very first donor egg cycle right now. Just remember that you are not alone and that although right now you want to scream and punch and curse every fertile lady out there, it will pass and you WILL try again! Good luck to you and welcome.

Thanks so much for reaching out... reading my thoughts and taking the time to write to me.
I am so sorry to hear that we are in similar situations. It is not easy. I\'m having a pretty down day today. Angry at the world...

We are jumping back into the game right away. I started birth control yesterday. I should be on it for about 6 weeks at a minimum (theory is to let me ovaries rest).

Do you think you will try another round of IVF?
How do you like your doctor?

Thanks again for writing!

@BecMarie

Hahaha! You said it quite well! I do want to scream and punch so many people around me! Obviously I have self control on the outside, but my insides are raging!

I am so sorry to hear about your failed attempts. I can\'t imagine your pain. I have crappy eggs as well! The doctor didn\'t use those exact words, but essentially told us it is an egg problem more than anything else.

How are you feeling about the egg donor? I wish you all the best and will keep you in my prayers.
