the will to create
so often it seems that I struggle to get along socially and professionally
and I put great effort into both of those things with some success, I hope..
I put much effort into my journalling and my hope to understand the humanity
around me and within myself.
I find it very very very hard to creatively move forward in my life - whereas once I
was an artist who drew and painted, it now is not a modality that holds the efficacy
and attention that it once held for me.
I suppose I should think about what I just wrote - and maybe see that the way forward
for my future endeavors
may simply be staring me in the face, in that "it's" what is working for me, right now, at this time.
Life is happening NOW...go for it!

the quest to find my place in the grand scheme blocks my creativity more than anything i can think of.
how can i simultaneously trust my creativity AND my need to fit in?
yup, life is happening NOW.
take a risk.
go for it!
Being creative holds a lot of layered meaning and purpose. I have always been a creative person as a means of expression and a means to understànd….. but not everyone in the world needs a public canvas. I’ve been to homes of people who I didn’t even know were creative, solely because their canvas was a beautifully decorated and comfortable home and thats all that mattered……. the interiors and exteriors of creativity are interesting things to think about.
Reading this about creativity and the sensitivity attached to how and what is chosen to be created brings me to a better understanding of where it works for me. I like to paint, draw, write, doodle, and it brings me to an inner level of balance and calm that provides me a pain-free experience.
Go for it! Lift the paintbrush or whatever tool that is attracting your attention and just enjoy the experience.
thanks guys!
