The weekend . . . . .
Still gf and really no urges to speak of. I had something unexpected come up, which was puppy sitting for a co-workers french mini poodle puppy - (less than 4 lbs) :] only 3-4 months old. It was great for me because I'm a dog and cat person - number 1 and because my husband was gone from Sat-Sun night... also an I Love Lucy marathon on TV - - - really dating myself there, but you can't be in a bad mood watching Lucy's crazy adventures. The puppy did great at my house and played with my dog no problem; also got along with the two cats, It really was like having a child in the house; such a baby, but very very sweet. Pure white - named Snowflake. So - this took my mind off of gambling or lack of it, I guess you might say. I'm really excited about saving money and surprising my husband when our vacation comes up in May. I'm already calculating how much I will have saved by that time with staying away from the casinos!!! Superbowl time, though I'm not really a big football fan; will watch it for a while. Another GF weekend and no urges to speak of.... Excellent!!! I love Lucy too..... I used to watch her on Nick@Nite or TVLand all the time. I finally bought a few of her season\'s so I could watch anytime I wanted. If you need a quick pick me up, just pop in Lucy and you\'ll be laughing in no time!!! I think my favorite one is the freezer. I love it when Ricky says \"No cry, no cry Lucy. I think I will just go pop that in the DVD player to send me into LaLa Land....

I remember once a fellow on here said he was bored and had nothing to do and I suggested he go rent a dog for the weekend. Guess it works. lol. Have fun.

Wonderful that no urges while hubby was away...wtg on focusing on the positive, on making plans for REAL fun like vacation instead of dwelling on the negative!
