the way I had been making sense of things

from what I talked to my therapist about - I can get real linear and - my linearity I've found is being easily derailed.

I realized that I create a picture in my head - a world of an image

that I use to make sense of the world and life ...(some call it a life style - perhaps it can also be called

a life logic - because it becomes that 'conceptual place' that keeps me inspired and provides

a home base from which to use as a point of departure or alternatively a refuge.)

That I must and can realize what I am doing.

I find that I am not living in that world that I create but it

is an element of my creation and an element of what I like - but it is not above my humanity and spirituality

I can walk into a room and take elements of the style of the place (designwise, I used to renovate houses)

and make the room tweaked out to fit the world that it was inspired by facilitated by me

or just get inspiration to take an element of what I see and build a world

from that which stylistically or elementally would be different from

the room it is in.

it's interesting - it explains a lot of the talent I have had

that I hadn't been able to make sense of or capable of relying

on.

When I was designing renovations I would often take the essential time period the

place was designed in and restore it but also bring it up to today's standards - so that

it would be (for example) a 70s home but created in today's world and for today's needs

and expectations.

This idea of a life logic is helping me consciously reinforce myself enough and follow through with the way I see things amidst the nature of the human landscape. It’s also helping me see, in the downtime when I’m not scheduled work wise what I want to do and what I want from my day and life and the moment I am in.
