The Usual " Setup ".....

Today he went out early this afternoon to do a " nice thing ", and get me a bottle of mio energy / black cherry for my water. It should have gone off without a hitch, but sure enough it didn't. As soon as he got back I could tell by the look on his face that something was very wrong. He had a look of fury on his face as fiery as some of his worst days. It turned out that on his walk back a driver nearly " ran him over " - ( by his account ). What the complete story was I would only truly be able to say if I had been there to witness it first hand. As often as this sort of thing happens to him - ( and it's not something I ever hear about there being a " problem " with in Brandon, on the news reports ) - I can't help wondering what's truly happening.  Do I dare question him about it ? OH HELL NO !!!!! I don't have a death wish ! As it stands right now he's sworn up and down that he needs to get a gun to take care of those drivers that don't look where they're driving ! ... AND to take care of cops that won't do their job, tracking down, and ticketing the driver that nearly ran him over ! He told me " in all seriousness " that even if it came down to it, he would not allow himself to be arrested.... he would have to be SHOT FIRST ! They would HAVE TO KILL HIM ! ..... He kept staring at me while he was saying all of these rage-filled things, as if he expected me to question him, or add my own comments about it. But.. HOW could I when I knew DAMM WELL that IF I dared to add my opinion about ANY of it I would only catch royal HELL from him !!!.... I would be risking him screaming and yelling at me, as well as probably risking him physically hurting me... AGAIN !!!! ... So I remained quiet as a church mouse... not a single peep out of me... until he finally wore himself out ranting, and raving, and went to bed to take a nap. I just HOPE that he takes a VERY VERY LONG NAP !!!!.... And I HOPE that when he wakes up from his nap that he's in a MUCH improved mood !!!!!
