the shadow side to us human folk
I am really coming to a point where I think I need to share some things with my therapist
though they make me very uncomfortable to talk about them.
I have been sitting here at home after a somewhat active day - and in the solitude
the pressure is building up inside...kind of dark thoughts about relationships
and my own feelings of being trapped by my own limits and hestitancies...
there are things I probably could be doing for the rest of tonight.
getting back to the things I usually do when feeling the low pendulum
of the feelings swinging inside me...and then rationally reckoning what to do
about it.

I think it’s good to confide difficult things with a therapist when ready. Even if it’s hard to articulate, the process of articulating with someone specifically trained to do just that can be a weight off the shoulders. Not completely off the shoulders, but the next level of work then begins. Speaking from my own experience that is.
Hope you have an amazing weekend!
If you aren't disclosing your difficult things with your therapist, then are buying her friend services. What you have is a prostitute friend. Bartenders are far more budget friendly. They work for tips.
I have been disclosing some difficult things - but I am going to the next level. Sometimes I don't want
to constantly talk about bad stuff.
Cathartic disclosing lightens the load. It’s a positive thing to expel the bad stuff. Therapy can only work if it’s honest.
Have a good Saturday and enjoy a nice walk in nature.
thanks Nikki!
