The pictures
Each time I log on, I see your haunting photo. The smile, the dimple, the man I love who took care of me. Who cared so much about the boys and I and making us happy.
Each time I log on, I see your haunting photo. I close my eyes to see if the stabbing in my heart will stop. But it doesn't. I try to move on to something else, read other's posts so that maybe I can help someone else through the sorrows or heartbreak of the day. I try not to let the tear come.
But, each time, before I log off, I stare at your beautiful, haunting photo and I let the tears come. I feel the stabbing in my heart and I remember the man I loved and lost. I say I love you, Jeff, and then I shut the computer off.
Love you baby.
