The Pewter Angel

Today I was cleaning the sunroom, vaccuming the cobwebs out of the windows, moving the dust around. I was getting ready to move the wrought iron table so I could vaccum when I spotted her. The Pewter Angel.
For 2 years, Jeff and I have been taking turns hiding this little pewter angel in the sunroom. The only real rules were that she could not leave the sunroom and it could not be put inside anything. It had to be able to be seen. First Jeff would hide it and I'd look every now and then, then once I found it, I would hide it and he would look. About a month before Jeff died, I begged him to just give me a hint. I had looked everywhere and could not find her. He would just laugh and tell me that I'd find her someday, I always did. Just be patient. After Jeff died, I have spend several different times going around the room and looking for her. Never successful. Until today. There she lay on the floor. She had to have been on the window ledge or the big oak clock hanging on the wall above the place where I found her. I don't care where she was, I am just glad that I found her.
Her new location is sitting on the window ledge next to the crystal container that has a few of Jeff's ashes, next to the crystal crosses that we collected. I feel more at peace now that I have found the angel and I feel like Jeff let me find her. He knew how upset I had been.
