The pattern of being ok and then not ok

I've heard it said before but maybe life is just 'moments.'

i came home from my parents' house today and got everything ready for the trip tomorrow. I felt nervous and anxious and then was awakened to being grateful for the trip and my gratitude was so much more stronger. I was in a good frame of mind a good perspective. Then I hunkered down to pass the time for the rest of the day the pressure within started to build up and my awareness and faculty for what to do escaped me and so while realizing I had to be self responsible I also decided to reach out to my sibling with a text.

I decided I needed to keep busy and so I came on here to DS.

Then I went back to watching tv and the pressure and battle within started to build. I kind of tried to get my head around what to do.

I thought about the trip and ate some snacks from Trader Joe's.

I thought about something I was struggling with days before and then I kind of thought about this pattern of being ok and then not ok.

Life is 'moments' and maybe in knowing that I can embrace the commonality of that. That this place too where we write might give others and not just ourselves a release from our self management along the way. Therapy for us may not be an end sum one sided thing but maybe a give and takeĀ

that helps us every day. So that what we write might be a therapy for others and not just ourselves and so it lightens the burden a little for all parties.

peace.

enjoy your vacay.

life's not the breaths you take. it's the moments that take your breath away.
