The paradox of choice

I went to the pub - I had a drink, a diet coke and a plate of cheese curds.

It was nice - I headed back home and stopped off at the 7 - 11 and got

a lighter for my new scented candle as well as a brownie.

At home I lit my candle and snapped pics of it and just laid down

on my bed - enjoying the fragrance, and the radio,, and Blue.

I started to feel stress - like I couldn't appreciate the moment.

I either swung from being totally on edge - to being so unsatisfiably lazy

or wistful, I thought about it and I finally got up and thought I should probably

do something for somebody else - like go online to the support group

until I have to get down to the kitchen for meal prep.

I then thought of this. I thought it might be a generic 'go to' to help

somebody else- but what might be really satisfying would be if I had a significant

other who I could do something for - for their benefit - something that is meaningful

to them. It really rang true and I think despite the protest (to a relatinoship) I previously talked

about - this idea - which promotes the basic health giving of relationships is undeniable.

Everyone has a choice you have to choose what's best for you. I personally probably wouldnt be able to be in a relationship especially right now I've got way too many things to worry about like how I'm going to retire where I want to live and I'm taking care of my mom
