The ones who don't know what you're going thru
The ones who don't know what you are going thru and try to comfort you make me mad. What they say doesn't make one lick of sense and it is infuriating. When you lose someone real close to you like spouse, parent, child, siblings etc. you don't get over it in a month or two as it takes a real long time. My husband passed away 2 months ago and one of his sisters thought I would be over it by now. She is crazy. Even the doctor and Welfare office both says 3-6months for the very worst of it, after that you learn to live with whole in your heart, however unfair it is to all of us with losses in our lives. My only daughter never lossed anyone in her life so she can't comfort me at all. She just helps me in the practical things, which is a need as well. She helps me a tad bit with the grocery shopping. I can't wrap my head around grocery shopping but I have a support in her. I don't drive and she does. When you heart is broken from the loss in your life, doing the practical things is not in your head to do. When I have a good day, I can manage the practical things of life. When I have a bad day, I can't get out of the house without a friend or family memmber. If I am alone on a bad day, I don't leave the house. Life sucks when you have lossed someone. It is so unfair. The world seems to go on but we wish it would stop for awhile but it does not. If you are a person of faith, sometimes it is difficult to pray. I have people praying for me which is a good thing. When you can't pray, others can pray for you. I am all alone at the moment and it is not good as I can than focus too much on my loss.
