the oger inside...is it?

I'm spending the day alone. I was invited over to my parents - but regretably my father

has come down with a serious headcold.

I'm sitting here at 240pm in the gloomy light of this cloudy day.

I find myself feeling pretty balanced in my outlook and yet there's this beast

leaning into me that I will just call 'the oger' - 

I had a Russian friend who was a highly awarded figure skater who once talked

about 'feeding the oger' and the image and idea really stayed with me.

I do have a lot of energy - and the focusing of it and my thoughts - and keeping aware or awake

to it all seriously feels like an oger leaning into me.

I am so grateful for Blue, I am so grateful for the comfort I have in my life.

I am listening to classical music (Christmas oriented stuff) and again I am

just so grateful for you guys, my job, my family and friends and Blue.

I have no sense or maybe I have the sense that the future will be a challenge....

but I will rise to that challenge...and fight the good fight.
