the morning

Good morning everyone! It's a crisp Autumn day here. I wasn't scheduled to serve, so I went out for coffee (thx Susan!). It was great to be out there in the world with everyone rushing around getting their coffee and donuts. I sat and corresponded with a friend on my phone.

Now I am back at the monastery, in the Narthex, listening to the service going on inside the church. It brings me peace and also happiness as I know the service nearly by heart. I can tell where they are in the service and what my part would be if I were in there.:)

Life serves up beautiful lessons sometimes and beautiful reminders that we all live in the family of mankind.

All tortured and twisted at times, needing to be creative to vent or direct our energy, ultimately for health, and survival.
