the moral of the story

I wrote in a few posts ago the lesson of creating

visual truths in my art. Separate works that are always

about finding balance, proportion, composition in a new

way - if but using the same motifs. It's like a way of

seeking out truths- and working away at them.

I was also watching a video clip of the musician Sting.

He talked about always having or finding still the creative itch

to work at an idea to create a work of music about.

That's kind of the same thing I am talking about.

These written entries here are also my way of finding truths

in life. I get lost in detail - then I see benchmarks and patterning..

and I guess trying to create something of different kinds of truths

perhaps even just to make myself feel good about myself and my explorations

of my mental confusion, sense of being adrift or just my seeming unatural limitation.

That being said, I was thinking about that today behind altar and I realized "I can't be happy all the time".

I had been obsessing on the details initially when service started - swing from mental vine to mental vine -

trying to find a 'way to cope' - until I realized I can't be happy all the time. Indeed that realization

brought peace and resolution to just do the work in front of me - and that brought a different kind of

peace - a kind of 'flow' and an excellent service by me was made!

Finding peace in the day, and all that comes with it, is such a blessing!

Keep journaling - reading back later will help you find yourself!

I find acceptance to be really important to me

We're not struggling against something when we accept it

I'm so glad that you had a lovely service...xo
