the menace within me

I have fought really hard to keep positive and productive

but there seems to be a force, a voice, within me that would

have me muttering in and concocting things that aren't true...

this is a major factor how my condition manifests.

I was at work this morning.. feeling positive and then that

grumbler undercut me with thoughts - and crestfallen I took

the lesson from it - in that I tried not to jump to conclusions

rather I tried to take the positive lesson from it - I worked

humbly along - pursuing the good work and just kind of ingnoring

the paranoid stuf.

I came home from work and soon it's off to another work evironment.
I will do the best job I can there - and do the job I know I can do.

Sending peace your way!!

My circuit board design work sure spoiled the "positive" vs. "negative" psych analogies for me. At social gatherings, including support groups, I can only listen to so much of the discussions based on those analogies before I start smelling blown circuits. I don't know if you have ever smelled blown electrical circuits, but it is almost as refreshing as napalm in the morning. It's enough to get my eyes watering. Pass the tissues and don't ask why. But if you want to experience that joyful aroma first hand, try removing the negative charge from your circuit. I'll keep the first aid box handy, at a safe distance, of course.

Have I drifted too far off-topic? To my warped brain drives, it is not off topic, at all. Somewhere along my own trail of tears, I started translating the positive/negative psychology into yin and yang. It isnae a question of good vs. bad. It is a question of balance. Or. . . Am I lost in metaphor again?

There is nothing in life either good nor bad. 'Tis the thinking which makes it so. ~ Wm. Shakespeare
