the looming spirit and keeping to my lane in the road

outside of normal schedules for me, I worked today and then have

tomorrow off. I guess I am kind of glad for it but I find myself going

to bed at the usual 'school night' time just for the sake of keep the habit and keeping the routine.

I did the evening washing up, flossed and brushed, put on face cream for this aging

old dude and then the hand cream that supposed to help with the skin issue I have. hehe

but it doesn't do much hehe.

So I got into bed, kind of all automatically - got the glass of water by the bed for Blue

and then one for myself - took my meds and then tried to settle in.....with the looming intense spirit of my body

and the almost moral de riguer of keeping up with all that I am supposed to do.

I feel I need a change of attitude and perspective...and so I'll flip that notion

on its head. Maybe I can let myself write myself a good epistolary vent here

sent out to you guys and maybe the end in that is just that I know if I look at my routine

now as something to keep myself in 'my own lane' in life, rather than getting lost

in the inebriation of flights of fancy and whim, I can feel better about it, rather than

suffocated by the looming spirit. There's gotta be something of both in life.

I seem to be going from A to B to A and back to B. It's a strange thing.

I'll go to bed now.

Sending peace and good vibes,

Mark

Sending hugsies. Or as the seven year old calls them “huggies.” Hope you will have found a good night’s sleep.

staying in my own lane is easier when i pay more attention to the road than the drivers in front, behind and to the sides of me.
