The long and winding road ...

Life, not a fair deal for many and that is just a fact of circumstances.  However, I cannot say that it is not worth the trip. Interspersed along the bumpy road are many moments of hope, love, joy, laughter. and wisdom gained. The loneliest part of this journey for me has been the solo sojourn of the warrior survivor walking the healing path which, for me, has been a deep journey within for a few years now.
I strolled quietly along seashores enjoying nature's abundance of little surprises and joys while picking up the broken pieces of a shattered self.  An amazing amount of pieces, and perhaps not all of them can be recovered, but I never give up on becoming the sometimes still illusive me.  I entered the depth and welcome of lush, wild forests, and rivers so that I could listen for and feel the many lessons and truths about being human.
I also read and researched relentlessly to understand fibromyalgia syndrome, C-PTSD, and other health issue topics.  There are good, bad, and in-between days but I much more present in them and also have a lot more insight as to how to manage my health issues now.
I hope that everyone here holds onto hope for growth, healing, and even recovery from the painful lives we have been challenged with.
