The holidays

Do not do much talking this time of year,I do not want to get any body down. I just get so sad at this time missing my daughter so much ,fighting with one of her girls, never lend money to relatives, I try to help every one in my life ,and it hurts when you get let down by people you love but that is part of life ,we get no promises here. So I keep busy cleaning and just really running in a circle. Can not run away from the pain though, I try to keep my faith that there is a reason for all this pain , just got to keep praying ,seems every thing in life I am afraid of keeps happening to me. I was afraid of losing my mother I did,was afraid of getting the cancer that killed her I did, afraid of losing a baby ,I did, afraid of losing my daughter I did,,now I am afraid of being afraid and am praying God will take it away from me. This is my life, but my hopes are that every one here has there wish's come true.

Dear Shirley, my heart hurts with you and your deep sadness. As I read your listing of fears and being afraids, I kept hearing the passage of scripture when the host of angels appeared before the shepherds announcing the birth of the savior - \"fear not\", \"be not afraid\" I bring you tidings of great joy! Throughout scripture we are invited to let go of our fears. Living in fear is living in a prison of what might never be. I know you have endured tremendous loss, pain and suffering throughout your life. So it is understandable that fear is there. Yet I believe there is so much more for you than fear. That way you bless this community shows the tremendous ability and gift of love that runs deep within you. I pray that the love you give to each of us, you will give to yourself, and cast out fear as an unwelcome visitor. I bring you tiding of good news - you are special, you are loved, and the Savior is borne for you.
Blessings my friend.

Sweet friend...it is so true, we cannot run from our loss. It travels with us each day...but I do not believe that there is purpose in this pain...in our loss. I think that things just happen sometimes...but it is up to us to decide what we then do. Do we become more and more angry and bitter...non productive and reclusive? Or, do we look for good...reach out to others and hold the hand of others that have suffered as we have? You are a warm and loving woman and you are doing the best you can. It is obvious that you try to help others...and we know that people are just people...and they will disappoint. So follow your heart...allow the emotions that come...but always look for brighter days. Love to you...Karen

Hugs from me to you! God is with you and wants to bless you. Nothing lasts forever except for His love. I pray for blessings to overtake you. When I am fearful, I go back to God\'s word, His promises. You are not alone.
