THE ESTRANGEMENT IS OVER
We got together tonight. I got scared when they were late and I got a text. I thought this is it; they're cancelling, but she was just telling me they were stuck at a light and were almost there. We greeted each other with big hugs. She was very apologetic. Her husband gave me a hug hello and good-bye. Everything was back to the way it was before. I asked what caused her to decide to re-connect and they didn't have an answer. I think it's maturity and of course God. She doesn't want to re-connect with her sister yet, but I think that will come in time. Her sister is very mad at her right now because of what she did to us. I haven't even told her yet that we've reconnected. I'm going to wait until Sat. when I see her.
Daughter and her husband are coming for dinner Christmas Eve. God does work miracles. For Him to change both my daughter's and her husband's hearts is only something He can do!

So, we cannot judge other\'s reactions.
I have a SIL who had a very harsh childhood. He was abandoned by his mother. They have a strained relationship now. His parents are divorced and on bad terms with each other. It makes things difficult for family matters.
This might be part of the husbands issues. But.....until you know for sure, Just show God\'s accepting love.
I hold all in my prayers.
